Groove Quantum's mission is to deliver the world's most scalable and manufacturable quantum processors, built on the proven foundation of germanium hole-spin qubits.

We believe that quantum advantage must be accessible at scale. That means building hardware that integrates with the infrastructure that already powers the semiconductor industry — not reinventing the supply chain.

By combining world-class quantum physics research with semiconductor manufacturing expertise, we are translating academic breakthroughs into devices that can be fabricated in existing foundries and deployed in quantum data centers worldwide.

MILESTONES

2020

First Germanium Quantum Processor

Published in Nature, Groove Quantum's founding team demonstrated the world's first germanium-based quantum processor — a landmark moment for spin-qubit computing and semiconductor quantum hardware.

2021

World's First 2D Germanium Qubit Grid

Published in Nature, we demonstrated the first two-dimensional grid of germanium hole-spin qubits with coherent quantum operations — proving the feasibility of 2D qubit array architectures necessary for quantum error correction.

2023

Scalable Multiplexed Qubit Architecture

Published in Nature Nanotechnology, this work demonstrated scalable germanium qubit architectures compatible with multiplexed cryo-CMOS readout electronics — a key enabler for large-scale quantum processors.

2024

10-Dot Array, 99%+ Two-Qubit Gate Fidelity

Published in Science, our 10-qubit germanium array achieved 99%+ two-qubit gate fidelity — exceeding the thresholds required for fault-tolerant quantum computing and setting a new standard for spin-qubit hardware.
